Mechatronics for Harsh Environments – All from a Single Source
As a company with strong development capabilities, we offer comprehensive solutions in all areas of product development. Our experienced team handles mechanical and electronic development as well as software development in-house. We guide you through every phase—from concept and development to testing. In addition, you benefit from our extensive network of experts, which can further strengthen your projects as needed. Together, we’ll turn your ideas into reality!
To bring our projects to life, we rely on a comprehensive toolchain that ensures seamlessly integrated processes. Using modern software solutions such as Siemens NX, Catia V5, Altium, and EAGLE, we carry out fully integrated mechanical and electronic development. Requirements are managed in IBM DOORS Next, while we evaluate and address the entire development process within the framework of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) using APIS.
Thanks to this integrated approach, we are able to efficiently implement even complex, functionally safe designs in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 13849 and DIN EN ISO 26262 standards. Trust in our expertise and state-of-the-art technologies to successfully bring your projects to life!

Specific Responsibilities for the Sales Representative
I would define the scope of responsibilities roughly as follows:
New Customer Acquisition
– Systematic identification of potential customers
– Building your own customer contacts
-Initial contact by phone and in person
-Scheduling appointments with development, purchasing, and technical managers
-Presenting the Brehmer Group
-Building long-term customer relationships
Project acquisition
-Identifying technical customer problems
-Documenting customer requirements
-Evaluating initial technical feasibility in collaboration with Brehmer
-Handing projects over to internal development
-Supporting quotes and development projects
-Identifying tenders and RFQs
-Involving Brehmer in customer projects at an early stage
Existing Customer Development
It’s not just new customers that are of interest.
The sales representative should systematically explore existing customers for further opportunities:
“What other components could we develop or produce for this customer?”
For example, an existing switch project could lead to a control unit, a display unit, or a complete mechatronic assembly.
Brehmer has a fairly broad portfolio in this area.
