The company Argillatherm GmbH, based in Göttingen, is a joint venture between industrial companies and the state of Lower Saxony. In cooperation with various research institutes (e.g. MFPA Weimar, Fraunhofer Institute), we have succeeded after around 10 years of research work in being able to offer so-called HUMID modules as a base or carrier material for surface systems for building air conditioning. Product development was successfully completed in mid-2023.</p
The HUMID modules consist mainly of polar clay minerals, which can store over 2 liters per m² without overmoistening themselves. This technology is unique in the world and solves the problem of surface systems, especially for cooling. With our modules, cooling can be run in continuous operation with a flow temperature of 6°C below the dew point.</p
Our systems are mainly used in hotels, office and administrative buildings, schools and daycare centers, museums and special buildings, healthcare buildings and, increasingly, in residential properties. Top references are already available in all areas.</p
Sales are generally handled by the installer.
We are looking for competent commercial agencies that focus on and around Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and North Rhine-Westphalia and have a structure to decision-makers in the above-mentioned areas of application.
